X-Hawk is a ‘rotorless’ Vertical-Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft. To be more precise, it is an aircraft that has the VTOL capability of a helicopter, but without the exposed rotors that make it dangerous or impossible for helicopters to maneuver in complex urban and natural environments. 
Initiated in September 2002 by a group of highly experienced entrepreneurs, Escape Rescue Systems has developed an innovative system which revolutionizes the evacuation of tenants from high-rise buildings, and enables the fast and safe transportation of fire and rescue forces to the focus of an emergency. 
Fish farming in the desert may at first sound like an anomaly, but in Israel over the last decade a scientific hunch has turned into a bustling business.
